So, I’ve been talking a lot recently about analog creativity, blogging, getting back to basics, and building from the ground up.
Can I let you in on a bit of a deflating realization? It’s that… social media has completely morphed into something it didn’t start out as. I know that’s obvious, but this is the thing that’s deflating: it’s less about real connection, and it’s more of a marketing strategy most of the time. It gently takes your hand and tells you hey, there are friends here and then you eventually get sucked into thinking that in order to feel ‘important’, you need to take videos of you eating Crumbl cookies in the front seat of your car and giving them a 1-10 rating.
That is not okay.
